MEMBER OF THE
I joined Reset and Sweat in 2019. I wasn’t convinced as I am not an athlete and I feel a bit intimidated by exercise. I signed up for a trial and was blown away. The trainers, and the whole ethos behind 31mins of hard exercise is outstanding. I started at 83kgs and after consulting a nutritionist and marrying that with Reset and sweat I am now at 69kgs. I am committed to at least 3 times a week, and if I am having a tired or a sore day the trainers are in tune with this and change my exercise to accomodate. I am blown away at the fact it’s just 31 minutes and the warm feeling and comfortable welcome as you are greeted and throughout the whole session is a credit to this business.
THE IMPORTANCE OF A GROWTH MINDSET
Having a growth mindset is to acknowledge that our potential to learn and grow is unbounded and that the power to increase our knowledge & abilities in all areas of life is within our control.
Approaching things from this perspective creates a real passion for learning, and makes us more likely to apply the grit we need to succeed.
If we become less discouraged by failure and more attentive when we are struggling, we start to see difficulty as an opportunity to stretch and challenge ourselves. This understanding not only makes us more open to learn, but raises our chances in reaching our goals within our careers and personal lives.

You may have already heard the phrase, “You can’t out-exercise a bad diet”. That’s because nutrition will always outweigh exercise, with a greater impact on your body composition and physique goals. Make sure to add more vegetables and wholesome foods into your diet and reduce processed and
packaged foods. Fuel your body with protein, good fats and carbohydrates. Take time aside in your day
to prep and organise your meals to avoid reaching for the quick and unhealthy options. Begin to observe your eating habits. Be aware of what you are putting in your body and how you feel after. It is always a work in progress and won’t happen overnight, but start to make small changes now for a better and healthier you.

THIS MONTH’S PROMOTION
Refer or bring a friend down this month to trial Reset & Sweat and if they sign up we will give you 1 month FREE.
DON’T SKIP STRETCHING AFTER YOUR WORKOUT
The more you stretch, the more you are lengthening your muscles and the more flexible you will become. If you continue to stretch after every workout, it will become easier for your body, resulting in improved flexibility.
Poor posture, a very common problem, can easily be changed and healed with daily stretching. Stretching also strengthens your muscles and will encourage proper alignment.
When you prepare your muscles for exercise, your likelihood of injury will be decreased. When your muscles are warm and stretched, movement becomes easier and more fluid-like, which will help with injury prevention.
Stretching increases blood supply and also increases nutrient supply to your muscles. As stretching allows blood to flow through your body, the nutrients in your blood are being carried and spread throughout your whole body, which will help reduce muscle soreness.
