NOVEMBER NEWSLETTER

It’s November already and we are well and truly heading into Summer with some serious training momentum! The club is pumping from the collective effort of members raising the bar with their training routines. We can see this higher intensity on the floor and want to congratulate you all for your drive and
consistency! Keep attacking your goals! You will reach them!

It is known that consistency is the major catalyst in creating strong habits, but equally important is the confidence and self empowerment found in discovering how much more you’ve got when you dig deep. We learn first-hand that change isn’t as difficult as we thought if we just stay the course, and that setting a goal and creating structure to reach it not only creates accountability and measurement throughout the process, but creates relevance and a clear path to these stronger and healthier habits, which in turn promotes stronger values for wellness and an all-round better attitude towards attacking life.

What are your goals this Summer? Are you chasing them down already or dancing around the start line? Get going, keep going, dig deeper, then find another 1%! That’s where the magic is and where your efforts and success can really be relished. If you need any help with getting your goals on track, please find us at reception so we can set you up with a kick starter pack!

MEMBER OF THE MONTH
AMANDA SMITH

“I first joined the 6 Week Challenge at the beginning of the year needing to shift some baby weight. I lost my 5kg by following the meal plan and pairing it with training 3-4 times a week at Reset & Sweat. Covid then happened, along with Easter, and that 5kgs quickly came back on. When the gym opened again I
was back at it and it didn’t take long to see my body transform again. After about 4 months of eating well and training 4-5 times a week I am down 10kgs, feeling stronger and fitter then ever and WANTING to train every day rather then feeling like I should train.”

SHOUTOUT TO THESE 2 LOVELY SISTERS, LUCY AND AMY, AFTER SMASHING THE 28 DAY RESET!

Congratulations to our members who recently completed their 28 Day Reset! For those who don’t know about it, the pack is free for members and provides a meal plan, session tracking, weekly check ins and guided support from the coaches, alongside add-on exercise programs and tailored butt-whooping throughout your 31 Minute Workouts 🙂

Huge shoutout to our Reset members who started their September with the plan to shift habits that don’t promote their best health, and adopt healthier, more sustainable ones to charge into summer with pride and a continued drive to keep smashing new goals. They all did incredibly and the results are evident!

HEALTHY FOOD SWAPS

Are you a lover for burgers, chips, pizza, ice cream, chocolate and all the rest!? Don’t worry because you
are not alone! Having these foods EVERY NOW AND THEN is okay, it’s all about balance. However, if you begin to have them every part of your daily day and make it a lifestyle this is when it can be detrimental to your health & fitness! Here are a few food swaps you can use when you’re feeling like those foods to help balance out your diet with nourishing & nutrient dense foods.

CONSISTENCY IS KEY

OPEN DAY BBQ SAT 28TH
Come down Saturday 28th and join us for our last Open Day before Christmas. We’ll be cooking up a storm on the BBQ and be playing some EPIC music to get us into the HAPPY and JOYFUL mood leading into Christmas! Who doesn’t love a good old Sanga!

THE IMPORTANCE OF CONSISTENCY
Consistency is one of the most important elements when working on accomplishing your goals in and outside of fitness. Consistency develops routine and builds momentum. It creates habits and almost becomes second nature. Think about a goal you have. If you are not consistently focused on achieving this goal, you will most likely fall off the wagon, lose interest and go back to your old habits. Consistency is the difference between failure and success.

HOW DO YOU CREATE CONSISTENCY IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE?
Follow these 3 steps that will guide you in the right direction:

1. Commit to change: Make a conscious statement to yourself that you will pursue your desired outcome and this can help keep you motivated to achieve that goal.

2. Live a consistently healthy lifestyle: Consistency in life extends to your daily habits and routines. Living an unhealthy lifestyle is an invitation for inconsistency and chaos. Get your body moving, eat well and balanced and ensure you get enough sleep every night.

3. Practice meditation: Some of the biggest challenges to consistency involve anxiety and emotional confusion. Meditation has proven to help calm an anxious mind and restore a sense of balance to your inner self. Meditation can also help you become more aware of yourself, your thoughts, feelings and environment around you.
